Location: UW-Madison Lakeshore Nature Preserve, 2000 University Bay Dr, Madison, WI 53705, USA
Description:
The seasons turn. The warm, fruitful days of summer slip away into memory as autumn's chill seeps into the land.
Now is the dying time. Now is the time of the harvest.
Come, and run with me, will you? While our strength lasts and the last vestiges of warmth and vitality yet hold. Let us run through the woods, you and I, and make together a sacrifice to the inevitable. But fear not, for it is not your blood that spills, but mine. Cut me down, and give my life to the land that this death will not be the final death. Soak the earth with my blood. And, after a spell, when the sun once again recovers its strength, may life burst forth again. For a time.
Saturday, October the 25th, starting at 14:00 from the UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve (Picnic point entrance).
$5 hash cash.
A to A.
Hounds welcome.
Do not hide from the dying time. We are, all of us, condemned to ride this turning wheel. I'll give my blood to see you through another revolution. On on.
