In 2021 (probably?), a young hasher had a dream:

I had a dream last night that I attended the Third Anal Butter Hash. The events:

1. Everyone gets a stick at the beginning. The least damaged stick at ceremonies gets a prize.
2. Butter carving
3. Butter licking (rules unclear)
4. Also fried dough dollops

And in the hash, we don’t let dreams be dreams. After a few false starts, the Third Anal Butter Hash became a reality. It is held yearly, usually in a really hot greasy month.
